1 arrested, two detained in Madera County Mega Pit investigation

MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (FOX26) — One person has been arrested and two others detained following a Mega Pit investigation that led to the seizure of illegal guns and drugs, according to the Madera County Sheriff’s Office.

The investigation began after deputies received an anonymous tip about a suspected indoor marijuana site inside a shop on Road 21 in Madera County, near the Central Valley Mega Pit.

During the investigation, deputies with the Sheriff’s Office Special Enforcement Team identified 39-year-old Jamal Graves, the owner of Central Valley Mega Pit, as the person living at the property connected to the illegal operation…
