A red-shouldered hawk was rescued and rehabilitated after becoming trapped in fishing line strung across a backyard pond in Lancaster County.
The incident happened in February, during a snow and ice storm, when a Lititz homeowner reported a hawk that appeared to be frozen to the ground, the Raven Ridge Wildlife Center said on Facebook.
