Tyler Summitt, Pat Summitt’s son, told WVLT’s Sports Director Rick Russo the project came together through Trilogy, Don Porter, Tribeca Productions and Rockin’ Robin Productions, which he said is Robin Roberts’ production company.
Tyler Summitt said the film covers his mother’s life from her childhood on a farm to her playing career, coaching career, championships and her battle with Alzheimer’s. He said the documentary also includes the foundation and appearances by his wife, Brooke, and their children.
He said he was grateful to the producers and director for making the documentary and said it reflects what his mother did for other people.
