Vacant Jack in the Box destroyed after catching fire

(FOX40.COM) — A vacant Jack in the Box near Cal Expo in Sacramento was destroyed after it caught fire Thursday morning.

The building at the corner of Hurley Way and Enterprise Drive was described as “well-involved” by the time firefighters arrived, with flames extending through the roof.

Sacramento Metro Fire officials said due to the fire’s intensity, firefighters made the “tactical” decision to initiate a “defensive fire attack.” Firefighters sprayed the building’s exterior from ladder trucks…
