Veterans Affairs police officer accidentally shoots his own leg while training at gun club in Cicero

Bridgeport, N.Y. – A Veterans Affairs police officer accidentally shot himself during a training session in Cicero on Thursday morning, deputies said.

Deputies were called to the Bridgeport Rod and Gun Club at 7470 Bull St. at around 11:35 a.m. after callers reported that a man had shot himself in the leg, according to Onondaga County 911 dispatches.
