Green Bay Converting Fire Draws Massive Regional Response as Crews Continue Multi-Day Effort

A major fire at Green Bay Converting on Larsen Road has triggered a large-scale, multi-day response from the Green Bay Metro Fire Department and mutual aid partners from across the region. Crews continue working to extinguish hot spots and support an ongoing fire investigation.

The incident began at approximately 7:45am on Monday, March 16th, when the Green Bay Metro Fire Department was dispatched to a fire alarm at 2200 Larsen Road on Green Bay’s west side. Engine 4, the first crew heading to the scene, reported seeing heavy black smoke while en route. Upon arrival, Battalion 3 confirmed flames coming from the roof of one of the buildings.
