OKLAHOMA CITY (KSWO) – The list of vehicle transfer exemptions may expand if House Bill 2967 becomes law.
The bill was passed on March 18 in the House, which could allow legal guardians and grandparents to be exempt from paying vehicle excise tax on the transfer of vehicle ownership to a child or grandchild.
Currently, spouses to spouses and parents to children are allowed the exemption, along with agricultural vehicles and 100 percent disabled veterans…
