LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — The Arkansas Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) Board has unanimously decided to uphold Peppermint Hippo’s alcohol permit revocation.
Earlier this year, they revoked the permit because “the club was an immediate danger to public health, safety and welfare due to numerous, serious violations, with some of those resulting in injury and death,” said ABC Director Christy Bjornson in a release.
At the appeal hearing on Thursday, Bjornson, along with ABC Enforcement agents, local law enforcement, and former employees of the club attended as witnesses. The hearing began at 9 a.m. and lasted 11 hours…
