History of Lake Park shared in Parkives series

The Village of Brown Deer shared a post about the history of Lake Park in Milwaukee County, part of its Parkives series. The post highlights the park’s origins during the county’s park expansion from the 1890s to early 1900s.

It includes historical photos of Lueddemann’s Farm, which became part of Lake Park in 1890, and Frederick Law Olmsted, whose firm designed the park’s layout.
