Authorities say a New Orleans man is facing a serious felony after a domestic dispute inside a Downman Road apartment turned into a fire investigators believe was no accident.
According to officials, the State Fire Marshal later determined the small blaze was intentionally set, leading to an aggravated arson charge tied to the chaotic scene reported inside the unit last October.
Quinton Rene Quinn, 35, has been arrested and booked on one count of aggravated arson. As reported by WDSU, police and fire investigators responded around 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 19, 2025, to an apartment in the 7700 block of Downman Road after a domestic disturbance call.
