ROCKFORD, Ill (WTVO) — Rockford police say a man was stabbed in the face with a screwdriver by his roommate on Thursday, March 12.
According to police, at 12:12 pm, officers responded to the 3000 block of Bidahl Street, where they came across the victim, who had an injury near his eye that was fresh and bleeding.
While talking with the victim, officers said that he was sleeping in the living room when he was awakened by his roommate, 47-year-old Robert Liles, who entered the residence with a woman, talking loudly. Officials say the woman eventually left, and Liles began accusing the victim of “various things” and poured an alcoholic beverage on him as he was sitting on the couch…
