The Richardson Police Department has arrested 25-year-old Erick Lajuane Foster II in connection with a shooting that happened around 2:00 p.m. on March 18, 2026, at the intersection of W. Spring Valley Road and S. Coit Road in Richardson. Police say Foster ran toward 33-year-old Ladarius Devonta Wheeler and fired several shots, hitting him. Wheeler was taken to a local hospital and remains in critical condition. Foster later turned himself in and has been charged with Aggravated Assault. The investigation is still ongoing.
