Page County Cases: Man Sentenced to Prison, Another Pleads Guilty

PAGE COUNTY, Iowa — The Page County Attorney’s Office reported two recent court cases involving probation revocation and a drug possession conviction.

According to the Page County Attorney, Andrew William Berner, 55, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, appeared with counsel and admitted to violating the terms and conditions of his probation. His probation was revoked, and the original sentence of five years of incarceration was imposed.

In a separate case, Gerald William Christianson, 21, of Shenandoah, Iowa, appeared pro se and pleaded guilty to Possession of Marijuana — First Offense. He was sentenced to five days in jail and fined $200. The fine was suspended, and Christianson was ordered to pay court costs and court-appointed attorney fees…
