LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Las Vegas Metro police released two officer bodycam videos following an animal theft incident at the Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel & Casino.
On March 3, a security officer at a Las Vegas Strip resort requested Metro police’s help after she said a man stole a flamingo and injured several others, according to a copy of the 911 calls the 8 News Now Investigators obtained days after the incident.
Mitchell Fairbarn, 33, of Ontario, Canada, is accused by police of allegedly injuring several birds — and stealing one — at the Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel & Casino on March 3. Fairbarn faces four counts of felony animal abuse.
