Gang member learns his sentence for 2018 Pa. stabbing, burning death

A Whitehall Township man was sentenced to life imprisonment in the fatal stabbing and burning of an 18-year-old in 2018 in Bethlehem.

Northampton County Court of Common Pleas Judge Michael J. Koury Jr. on Thursday sentenced 27-year-old Zahmire Welcome to life in state prison without the possibility of parole, plus 20 to 40 years incarceration.

Welcome was the last of the three “Money Rules Everything” gang members convicted and sentenced in the killing of Tyrell Holmes. A fourth member of the gang pleaded guilty to aggravated arson in the case and also was sentenced…
