Sheriff Donny Youngblood on KCSO’s use of force, suspect in Oildale saloon shooting, food vendor enforcement

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Kern County Sheriff Donny Youngblood stopped by 17 News at Sunrise to discuss KCSO’s use of force, the suspect in a fatal Oildale bar shooting, phone scams and food vendor enforcement.

Youngblood said the first 48 hours after a violent crime are crucial in finding a suspect. He also said KCSO will never contact you through a phone call and that if you do receive one from someone claiming they are sheriff officials, it is a scam.
