CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — A burglary took place overnight Friday in the immediate vicinity of the College of Charleston campus, and police are actively searching for the suspect.
According to the campus emergency notification system, the burglary was reported at approximately 3 a.m. at 50 George Street.
The victims reportedly woke up and found the suspect in their room and when confronted, he fled the scene in an unknown direction. According to the Charleston Police Department, the suspect remains at large at this time…
