Two men plead guilty in deadly Charlotte home invasion, victim’s family finds partial closure

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Nearly two years after a deadly home invasion in west Charlotte, a family is beginning to find a measure of closure.

On Thursday, two men pleaded guilty in connection with the killing of 36-year-old Cordarrell Houston, bringing an emotional chapter closer to an end for his loved ones.

Quavon Strother and Maiseo Caldwell each pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and conspiracy to commit burglary. Both were sentenced to 125 to 162 months in prison with credit for nearly two years already served, according to court records…
