COLUMBIA, S.C. — A proposal to build a gas station on North Main Street has been delayed as developers work to address concerns and recommendations from city leaders and nearby residents.
The project, proposed for the intersection of North Main Street and Sunset Drive, was presented to the City of Columbia’s Design and Development Review Commission. Plans include a Murphy Oil service station featuring a convenience store, 16 gas pumps, parking areas, landscaping, and a stormwater detention pond.
