Traffic Stop In Callahan Leads To Recovery Of Stolen Trailer And $20K In Copper

NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. – A routine traffic stop in Callahan led to the recovery of stolen property valued at more than $25,000 and the arrest of a wanted suspect.

On March 18, 2026, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a pickup truck traveling northbound on U.S. Highway 1 after noticing the attached trailer had a blown tire and no visible lights.
