Deep Green’s Lansing project could fail City Council vote

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A controversial proposal to build a data center in downtown Lansing may not pass the city council, as 6 News Investigates has learned that three council members are solid or likely no votes.

The $120 million project, which could generate millions in revenue for local governments, but would require the sale of underutilized city owned parking lots located at the intersections of Kalamazoo St., Cedar St., and Larch St., south of the Michigan Avenue.
