Scooter-Riding Suspect Stabs 68-Year-Old Outside Mountain View Corner Store

A 68-year-old man was stabbed yesterday near a corner convenience store in San Diego’s Mountain View neighborhood, leaving him with a wound to the rib cage, according to police. Officers responded around 6:30 PM to the 4300 block of Keeler Avenue near 43rd Street, where the victim was found and taken to a hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.

San Diego police told CBS 8 the suspect was described as a thin Black man wearing a navy-blue Chargers jersey and a black face covering. He reportedly took off westbound on an electric scooter after the attack. Detectives from the department’s Southeastern Division are leading the investigation.
