The Fort Worth Urban Design Commission at its meeting on March 19 signed off on final site plans for the long-awaited Evans and Rosedale revitalization project, clearing a major hurdle for developers and further paving the way for a summer groundbreaking.
The commission reviewed a staff report that included multiple waiver requests and a detailed breakdown of the $63 million affordable housing development that is expected to breathe new life into one of the oldest African-American neighborhoods in Fort Worth.
