Years after an aspiring El Paso rapper was gunned down near a Northeast house party, capital murder charges against seven of the 11 suspects have been dismissed, while four cases remain pending.
The dismissals come seven years after the killing of 20-year-old Terrance Lamont Kinard Jr., who was known as TK and who went by the rap name T. Kizer Tha Dummy, during a fatal shooting near a house party on Jan. 26, 2019, on Mount Whitney Drive.
El Paso Police Department officers arrested 11 people in connection with the shooting in an investigation that lasted years.
