Jackson man sentenced to 15 years for fentanyl distribution

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A Jackson man was sentenced to more than 15 years in prison in federal court for possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.

Roman Walker, 35, was sentenced on March 17, 2026.

Kemper County woman gets probation for SNAP fraud

According to court documents, Walker was identified by law enforcement as a distributor of narcotics from Hinds County. They said he was distributing a “menu” of narcotics, business hours and prices for different drugs he was selling.

On or about January 24, 2023, while executing a search warrant of Walker’s residence, law enforcement discovered large quantities of narcotics, including more than 11,000 blue fentanyl pills, fentanyl powder and methamphetamine packaged for distribution into the Jackson-metro area…
