So Minnesota: Legendary St. Paul restaurant Mancini’s

One St. Paul restaurant has served steaks for decades, becoming a legendary landmark.

Mancini’s started as a small tavern on West Seventh in 1948, where Pat Mancini’s dad, Nick, and his family served the working-class community with hot homemade dishes and warm smiles.

“Anyone that comes in here feels like they’re family already,” Pat Mancini said. “I know people have celebrated everything from baptisms, newborns, all the way through celebrations of life and everything in between.”

Over the years, Nick Mancini turned the restaurant into a famous steakhouse. Walls of the superclub are covered with pictures of stars, but it’s the regulars who have built Mancini’s into what it is today.
