Nathan Chasing Horse sentencing delayed again, lawyer seeks to vacate guilty verdict

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The sentencing hearing for Nathan Chasing Horse was delayed again after his attorney filed a motion to vacate the verdict finding him guilty on multiple counts of sex assault.

A sentencing status check is now scheduled for April 1 after Chasing Horse’s attorney, Craig Mueller, alleged that one witness was paid for their testimony.

The motion, filed on Tuesday, states that Mueller learned from a presentencing investigation report (PSI) that the witness was approved for a $5,000 payment from the Nevada Victims of Crime Program. Another witness applied to the program but was still pending…
