AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – An Augusta mom was arrested earlier this week after a Department of Family and Children’s Services (DFACS) worker visited a local motel room the family was staying in.
Reports say the DFACS worker contacted the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) when he attempted to get the mom to the answer the door.
He told police that 39-year-old Suzanne Shelton said she didn’t want to come to the door or want the DFACS worker to see the 5 kids; ages 12, 9, 7, 5, 3…
