BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – A woman has been arrested in connection to a child overdose death investigation following the death of a 3-year-old, Birmingham Police say.
Birmingham authorities say 25-year-old Brandi Stokes, of Birmingham, was arrested for chemical endangerment of a child after 3-year-old died in the 2700 block of Gallant Drive.
Officials say the incident occurred Jan. 24, 2026 and Stokes was taken into custody March 20, 2026.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the 3-year-old as Kemani Denise Marie Harrison. The coroner’s office says Harrison’s death was accidental as a result of N-propionitrile chlorphine toxicity…
