A man is facing multiple charges after deputies say he tried to steal AT&T cable in Jefferson County.
Detectives with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office were called around 2 p.m. on March 13 to the 1400 block of Warrior Jasper Road for a possible cable theft. While checking the area, a detective spotted a man in a gold Chevrolet Impala heading toward a section of downed AT&T cable along the roadside.
Because of recent cable thefts in the area, the detective turned around to investigate. That’s when authorities say the suspect took off…
