Murder charge dismissed for Indianapolis man accused in 2025 shooting of Fort Wayne woman

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A murder charge has been dismissed for an Indianapolis man who was accused in the 2025 shooting of a Fort Wayne woman.

Antres Damon Holliness-Ransom was arrested in connection with the death of 28-year-old Jasmine Haywood, after her body was found with a gunshot wound inside an apartment in the 2900 block of Schele Avenue on October 17.

According to court documents, a search of the apartment led to the discovery of a blood-covered Glock 48 9mm handgun between the victim’s feet; a single shell casing with a Hornady 9mm Luger headstamp in a dresser drawer; and a semi-automatic rifle with an obliterated serial number under the bed…
