Man charged in shootout at NE Charlotte 7-Eleven that injured one, struck gas pumps: Police

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Charlotte man is in jail after being charged with a parking lot shooting near the Cabarrus County line late Thursday night.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police charging documents show that officers responded around 10:30 p.m. to the 11500 block of North Tryon Street, near the Walmart Neighborhood Market. Upon arrival, they found the victim with a gunshot wound to the upper right thigh, and a locked Glock 23 lying beside him.
