CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WXIX) – A Clermont County family said they lost nearly $3,000 after paying for their son to be released from jail, only to learn they had been scammed.
Kenneth Fuller said he had been trying for several days to get the money back after he received a phone call from someone claiming to be from a corrections center, the same day his son was sentenced to 10 days in jail.
“I got a phone call from the police department that they didn’t have a bed available at that time, but they could let my son go on home release with an ankle monitor,” Fuller explained…
