The Save Mart Companies hosted a community celebration March 18 at its remodeled Save Mart store at 1504 Howard Road in Madera, California, unveiling a range of new departments and expanded product offerings at one of its long-standing Central Valley locations.
Mayor Cece Gallegos and other officials attended the event, which featured a performance by the Madera South High School Pom Team and a “Battle of the Bags” competition between the Madera Police and Fire Departments, with all bagged groceries donated to a local food bank.
What’s new
The remodeled store adds a full-service butcher block and seafood counter, an expanded service deli with grab-and-go options, a refreshed bakery cake case and an on-site florist.
