On March 10, a grand opening celebration was held for the launch of a new dignity-centered, choice-based food pantry called Corners Market.
Located in Norcross, the food pantry and community center represents more than $600,000 in investment from Gwinnett County, Perimeter Church, the Community Foundation of Northeast Georgia and the Gwinnett Rotary Club.
Corners Outreach CEO Larry Campbell said at the grand opening that food insecurity was a reality in Gwinnett County, adding that one in seven children in the community grows up in poverty, and that a mere 4% of children living in poverty are able to eventually escape it…
