SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — A boil-water advisory in Santa Rosa County has been lifted, according to the Bagdad-Garcon Point Water System.

“The Precautionary Boil Water Notice has been rescinded/cancelled for the customers in the following areas,” a March 20 water system news release said:

  • 5552 to 5610 Harbor Oaks Drive
  • 208 to 651 South Garcon Point Road
  • Sunset Cove Lane
  • Inland Cove Court
  • 219 to 353 Katie Street

Residents were advised on March 18 to use boiled water for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, and washing dishes.

The recommendation was to boil water for at least one minute. If necessary, bottled water could be used as an alternative, officials said.
