Stolen U-Haul crashes into 3 cars in Montgomery County, driver arrested

ROCKVILLE, Md. (7News) — Montgomery County police have one person in custody after a stolen U-Haul truck crashed into multiple vehicles Friday morning.

According to the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD), officers initially received a call around 9:45 a.m. for a crash involving the truck.

Police said the driver struck a vehicle near Strathmore and Rockville Pike before continuing north. While on Rockville Pike, police said the U-Haul’s front wheel came off, and the detached wheel hit another vehicle near Nicholson Lane…
