Kansas Fire Dept. finds Good Samaritan who saved driver’s life

WYANDOTTE COUNTY —The Kansas City, Kansas fire department has identified and made contact with the Good Samaritan they were looking for in connection with a crash and fire.

On March 5, Kansas City, Kansas fire department crews responded to a motor vehicle accident on northbound Interstate 435 at State Avenue, near the State Avenue exit ramp, where a van struck a bridge pillar and caught fire.

Before crews arrived, a Good Samaritan pulled the driver from the burning vehicle. Their actions undoubtedly saved that person’s life…
