LAFAYETTE, LA. (KLFY) — The Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) held a ribbon-cutting to celebrate the completion of a $1 million improvement project at Picard Park.
The renovation marks the first major upgrade for the facility in its 50-year history. The project, which took just over nine months to complete, was a highly anticipated priority for the local parks department. Officials aimed to modernize the space to encourage more public involvement and improve the quality of life for residents in Lafayette.
