MOUNTAIN VIEW, Ark. — Make the most of Spring Break, March 23-27, 2026, with a hands-on, memory-making visit to Ozark Folk Center State Park. Throughout the week, visitors can try their hand at traditional Ozark crafts and skills, dance a jig, play the dulcimer, weave a mug rug, make felted soap, or plant an heirloom seed with a story to take home.
Guests can enjoy guided tours of the Ozark Highlands Theater and the Craft Village or explore the Heritage Herb Garden as it comes alive with fresh spring growth. Many Craft Village shops will be open and preparing for the upcoming season, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the park’s living traditions.
The Gift Shop will be open Thursday and Friday, March 26-27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission to the park is free during this special spring break week.
