NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — For the first time, the NOLA Seafood Marketplace is coming to Broadside for a unique seafood-focused farmer’s market on Saturday, March 21.
This free event will bring together local fishermen, chefs, musicians, storytellers and community members from across Louisiana’s coast for a morning of learning, conserving and buying fresh, local seafood.
According to a news release, seafood harvesters will set up tables to sell their catch to the public while also showing their gear they use to fish, giving insight to those who are interested. Additionally, local chefs will demonstrate the art of fish butchery, seafood safety and preservation.
