What started as a routine move to Scottsdale turned into a high-dollar headache for one woman, who says about $60,000 worth of her belongings vanished from the U-Haul she used to relocate. Yavapai County deputies later arrested two people after a March 18 search at a Cornville home turned up some of her missing property.
According to 12News, the woman discovered that expensive furniture, electronics and other household items were missing after she unpacked from a January move from Utah to the Valley. Investigators put the loss at roughly $60,000 and traced some of the property to a Cornville residence, which set the stage for the search that led to the arrests.
