2 pedestrians killed while using Tucson crosswalk, police say

TUCSON, Ariz. — The Tucson Police Department has identified the two pedestrians who were killed in a crash that happened in midtown on Thursday night.

Colette Mukankaka, 71, and Donatille Nyiramugwera, 60, were identified as the victims of the crash.

According to TPD, Operations Division Midtown officers responded to the intersection of 29th Street and Rosemont Avenue after receiving a report of a crash involving two female pedestrians on March 19 at 6:20 p.m…
