Man sentenced to life in prison for killing ex-girlfriend in Glendale

GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — A man will spend the rest of his life in prison after being convicted of shooting and killing his ex-girlfriend in Glendale nearly three years ago.

Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell announced that Rueben Rocha, 24, was sentenced to natural life in prison for the murder of Jordin Castillo, 20.

The county attorney’s office says Rocha was also sentenced to an additional 52.5 years in prison, and 15 of those will be served consecutively with the life sentence…
