A 17-year-old boy was shot early today while much of East Baltimore was still asleep, after gunfire broke the quiet on a block in the Armistead Gardens neighborhood. Police said the teen was rushed to a local hospital with what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers were called to the 1200 block of Quantril Way at about 2:33 a.m., where they found the wounded teenager and began a shooting investigation that now sits with Eastern District detectives.
