The Oakwood Police Department is seeking information on a man accused of prowling around the area of the Commons Townhome subdivision, located on Frontage Road and Commons Drive in Gainesville.
The reported incidents occurred on Feb. 16 at around 11 p.m. and on Mar. 7 at 12:30 a.m. The unidentified suspect is accused of attempting to open the back window of a residence occupied by college students.
The suspect is reportedly a young white or Hispanic male with black hair and a slender build. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, sandals or slides and light brown shorts.
The individual appears to be traveling on foot and is observed in the area at irregular intervals, typically every 7 to 10 days, between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 1:30 a.m…
