FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – An elderly woman found trying to climb out of a broken window was rescued from a house fire Friday.
Crews say they arrived on N. Antioch Avenue just after 12:30 p.m. to find her trying to escape the flames.
Firefighters immediately made contact and helped her down. She was treated at the scene before being transported to a local hospital for smoke inhalation and injuries from broken window glass.
Inside, they say they found hoarder conditions, making it more challenging to extinguish. However, despite the obstacles, firefighters say they were able to contain the damage to a single room…
