New Knox County program to help formerly incarcerated get IDs and driver’s licenses

KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs announced that Knox County can now reissue IDs and Driver’s Licenses to people reentering the community after incarceration, making Knox County the first county government in the state to launch a program like this.

6 News visited Men of Valor, a local re-entry ministry that helps formerly incarcerated men get back on their feet and build a better life, to see how this could change lives.
