Fans in attendance at Middle Tennessee State’s Murphy Center on Friday for the Class 4A semifinal between nationally-ranked Bartlett and Bearden were treated to an offensive showcase.
Bartlett, the No. 12 in the latest USA TODAY Sports Super 25 rankings, entered the tournament as the heavy favorites to win their first state championship since 2001. However, a blind draw before the tournament began pitted the Panthers and Bulldogs on the same side of the Class 4A bracket.
