Roanoke man charged after abandoning box of eight puppies outside church

ROANOKE, Va. (WSET) — A Roanoke man was identified as the suspect who was caught on camera abandoning four puppies at a church in the city in early March and has now been charged.

Members of the Roanoke Police Department’s Animal Warden Unit identified 54-year-old Andrew Lawrence Schultz, who is now facing four counts of animal abandonment.
